Four recovery plans, and the one the business actually bought
The disaster-recovery review has four proposals on the table and a room full of people using the word "warm" to mean four different things. Every one of them is a real strategy AWS names, every one is correct for some business, and they differ by orders of magnitude in both recovery time and monthly cost.
Before anyone argues about which to buy, the room has to agree on what each one actually promises.
Put the four strategies in order of how quickly they restore service — fastest first.
